We should thank the stars that we weren't swept. There's no way LSU doesn't explode for 9 or 10 runs tonight, especially against our depleted pitching staff.
Jared Mitchell? I'm scared to look at the screen when he's in the batter's box. When he swings I flinch. Mikie Mahtook? If that name doesn't make you think of "squeal like a pig," then nothing will.
LSU saved its ace. He who cannot be hit. Did you see the ass-kicking he gave Arkansas? And Arkansas is another SEC team.
We wasted our home runs. We're out of them. Our small ball will give us 3 or 4 runs, but that won't be enough.
We're doomed. |

I feel Texas fans on this forum have played the "LSU is all Powerful" card too much. Both of these teams are equally good
There's a reason Texas was ranked #1 in the seeding process. They are damn good. |

2005 ESPN coverage of the 2006 Rose Bowl, in the days leading up to the game. They said that USC could beat many NFL teams, historic armys, starfleets, etc. They basically said we shouldnt play the game. Thats where it comes from. |

Do you not understand that what we are up against is an ANGRY LSU team who has done nothing but play with us like a cat with his wounded mouse. unfortunately I thought we were really doomed, for real. I didn't get to watch live and was traveling today so I didn't get to shag it up, but I told doc last night on the phone I thought we'd need at least 7 runs and that Cole would be out by the 4th. I was juiced when we tied it up, but that quickly ended. We've got real holes in our relief pitching and our defense needs real work but we've got a great core returning. I'm stoked about Jungmann, Green and Ruffin for next year. |
